Club memberships across Florida range from a few hundred dollars a year at community swim-and-tennis clubs to initiation fees and monthly dues at full country clubs, and many clubs offer summer or trial memberships. Guests are usually welcome when accompanied by a member, and non-members can often book lessons, clinics or court time at commercial centers. Daytona Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Daytona Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Parents need to better- not great if you donβt want to be watching every move your toddler makes because the older kids have zero common sense

I went to the Cypress Aquatic Center here in Daytona Beach to swim my laps today. I had been looking for a new outdoor pool to do my swimming training in, without having to sign up for a typical restrictive membership and all the blah blah blah that goes with it, at the other βcommercialβ facilities. I was surprised to find this great facility, and also the other Daytona Beach municipal pool, which is called the Campbell Aquatic Center, which also looked good, but has limited days that itβs open. This Cypress pool turned out to be just perfect for me, itβs super clean, I was the only one there at 10AM when they open, and the manager and lifeguards were incredibly helpful and friendly. I immediately felt right at home, and that felt great. As you can see from the photos, they also have a super kids splash / swimming area, and they can turn on the waterslide whenever kids (or us retirees, when we want to act like kids again π), want to take a spin down it. (Maybe a great place for a kids party?) On the side of the pool, they have two nice larger covered seating areas with picnic tables that make it very comfortable to relax out of the sun, before or after your swim, if you choose to

The pool and facilities are well taken care of and managed. The lifeguards and staff are organized and professional. The pool has fun places for kids and lap swim lanes as well.
